DonorsChoose.org is not the only way you can help Alaska schools. The Anchorage Schools Foundation provides mini-grants to Anchorage educators for classroom supplies, recreational equipment and uniforms, books, technology, after-school programs, field trips and other needs. You can donate to the Anchorage Schools Foundation on the Alaska Community Foundation’s web site. Be sure to indicate that you want your donation to be applied to the “Anchorage Schools Foundation Fund”.

Ignite Anchorage 4 will feature a fundraiser for the Anchorage Schools Foundation. We’re planning that event now so watch for news and announcements soon.
