“We All Have a Story”

A conversation about social change through social media.

About Mark Horvath
Currently Mark Horvath has broken the mold. He is not doing what makes sense, he’s not doing something that even pays the bills—he is living out his passion and doing what burns deep inside of him. To share the face and voice of homelessness, Mark has developed Invisible People TV to tell the stories of people living on the streets, something he knows all too well as he once lived among them.

Valerie Streit did an in-depth story on his fall into homelessness and his subsequent activism, complete with video, found in full at CNN Tech.

Mark not only has an incredible personal story, he also knows how to tell a story. The stark interviews with homeless people are riveting. His work is extremely innovative and has created a lot of buzz since first going live in 2008.

Visit Mark at Hardly Normal or find him as @hardlynormal on Twitter. The Invisible People are on Twitter as @invisiblepeople.

Mark Horvath is one of many compelling and entertaining speakers that will be featured at Ignite Anchorage 3 on March 2nd at the Alaska Wild Berry Theater. Get your tickets now and help raise money to fund Alaska education projects!
